💧 Caring for Your Serene Habitat Terrarium

This large, humid terrarium is designed to be a low-maintenance ecosystem that largely recycles its own moisture.

Light: Place your terrarium in a location that receives bright, indirect light (e.g., near a window that doesn't get harsh afternoon sun). Crucially, avoid direct sunlight, as the glass can intensify the heat and damage the plants inside.

Watering: Water very sparingly and infrequently. The biggest risk to your terrarium is overwatering. Check the moss and soil every 3–6 weeks. If they look completely dry, add only a small amount of distilled water (no more than 2–3 tablespoons).

Condensation: A slight fog or mist on the inside of the glass is normal and means the ecosystem is working correctly. If the glass is constantly covered in heavy fog, the terrarium is too wet. If this happens, open the top for a few hours to allow excess moisture to evaporate.

Maintenance: Occasionally, remove any dead or yellowing leaves with long tweezers to keep the habitat clean and prevent mold growth.
